Our A5 folded flyers are some of the easiest to explain in terms of folding. There are quite a few folding options available. They begin as a printed sheet which measures 210mm x 148mm (A5 size) before they can be folded twice down the middle, creating 3 equal panels using the Tri-Fold method to create a finished size of 70mm x 148mm. You can choose to fold the outer panels towards each other as a C fold, or away from each other as Z-folded leaflets.

You could also choose to have your A5 folded to A6, this is where they are folded in half (half fold) to make a compact-sized mini booklet, brochure or menu, which makes them ideal for sticking in envelopes, pockets and bags or direct mail campaigns.

If I upload my flyer or leaflet design, what file types do you accept?

If you order online, we accept print ready pdf and jpeg files. Please note that all folded leaflet artwork should be set up in CMYK as this is what is used within the printing process.

Which paper stocks and weights are available?

You can order your A5 folded leaflets on several paper choices, including a budget 130gsm and 170gsm gloss stock with a shiny surface and very smooth finish. Many of our customers enjoy our Silk stock as it has a smooth feel with a slight surface texture. We are also able to offer uncoated or any other additional stocks that we carry.

Do I need bleed and crop marks on my artwork?

You need bleed on all printed items. You do not, however, need to supply your A5 folded flyers with crop marks or bleed marks.

Can you advise me of the margins and safe zones?

Yes, we can! Where possible, we recommend a 3mm safe area within the whole design. Where you intend your artwork to be folded, we also advise a 5mm margin to ensure a perfect print.
