It is also important to make sure that it is not too overcrowded with information, making it harder for it to catch people’s attention. They are typically printed in full colour single sided and you would want to keep the design simple.

Do I need bleed and crop marks on my artwork?

You do need to bleed on all printed items. You don’t, however, need to supply your A4 poster artwork with any crop marks or bleed marks. If you are putting your posters in a frame, be sure to leave room within the design for the overlap. Typically, it is best to upload a PDF or high-resolution JPG.
