A classic leaflet type, the key fold for DL folded leaflets is easy to explain. They begin as a printed flat sheet measuring 198mm x 210mm before they are folded once down the middle using the Half Fold method to create a size of 99mm x 210mm closed (DL leaflet size). Since there are 4 side panels or pages, DL leaflets are sometimes referred to as DL 4PP leaflets.

Do I need to fold the leaflets myself?

No, definitely not! We will make sure your DL 4PP leaflets are folded before we send them out, so you can display and distribute them as soon as you receive your order. This is the same whether you order any quantity, whether it be 100 or 100,000!

If I upload my own design, what file types do you accept?

If you order online, we accept .pdf and .jpeg files. Please ensure your pictures are 300dpi minimum.

Please follow the guides below to ensure that your file prints as you wish it to.

Illustrator – In Illustrator, all fonts should be converted to outlines.

Photoshop – In Photoshop, flatten all of your images and don’t use extra channels.

When setting up your DL Folded Leaflets design in Illustrator or Photoshop, set up at 100% of the final output.

Which paper stocks and weights are available?

You can order our folded dl leaflets in several paper choices, including a budget 130gsm gloss stock with a shiny surface and very smooth finish. Many of our customers enjoy our Silk stock with its smooth feel and slight surface texture. As well as quoting for gloss or silk, we can also quote for any other additional materials we carry.

Do I need bleed and crop marks on my artwork?

You need to supply your artwork with bleed on all printed items. You do not, however, need to supply your DL folded leaflets with crop marks or bleed marks.

Can you advise me of the margins and safe zones?

We sure can, that’s what we do! We advise a 3mm safe area within the whole design, and where you intend your artwork to be folded, we also advise a 5mm margin to ensure a flawless quality print.
