Product Description

Company letterheads can be a great tool for making your customers feel valued, too. While emails may be easy to send, there’s no denying that little care is put into them. Show your customers they deserve better than that with handwritten correspondence on full-colour letterheads.

When they open the post to a stylish personalised letterheaded paper design, you will not only secure a great first impression, but you will instantly establish your brand identity with your company name and insignia displayed professionally at the top. You can also include your contact details so customers can easily get in touch if they need to.

Letterhead Printing in Staffordshire

Before everything was done online, letterheads and compliment slips were the main ways businesses promoted their companies’ identity and kept in touch with customers and clients. While emails are still an undeniably helpful way to communicate, it is important not to underestimate the impact of a real piece of paper and a handwritten note. They are invaluable for adding a personal touch to your business, whether it’s sending a note with orders or contacting potential clients. They are vital for your company’s reputation and image and for providing a professional rapport. Don’t forget to match envelopes to complete your professional mailing set.

You can choose to have your letterhead printed onto paper stocks including 90gsm, 100gsm, 120gsm paper or 170gsm luxury uncoated paper and 120gsm recycled for a natural texture. You can also decide between single-sided for an efficient look or double-sided for an exceptional and visually stimulating design.

What is Letterhead printing used for?

High-quality letterhead printing can be used for a wide variety of purposes, from sending personalised messages to new or existing customers, minuting notices or meetings, displaying invoices, to presenting important content such as legal documents. You can also use them to offer vouchers or discounts to tempt customers into returning to your business. If you need something more formal, consider our Certificates for recognition or awards.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are Letterheads?

As their name suggests, letterheads are pieces of standard A4 paper with a personalised heading at the top and/or bottom that usually includes your company name, emblem, contact information and business address. The rest of the page is left blank so you can print out or handwrite a letter or information onto it. If you are writing a long letter, our Continuation Sheets are a great addition to our letterhead range and can help add a touch of class to a long letter!

How should I prepare my high-quality Letterhead artwork for printing?

As with any business stationery, when you create your letterheads, you should ensure that it stays in line with your company identity and include familiar applicable colours, fonts and logos found elsewhere in your business. We recommend including your brand name and symbol for instant recognition, as well as your contact details and business address, so that customers can easily contact you if they need to.

Since letterheads are commonly used for sending messages or displaying information, it is important to keep your letterhead artwork to the very top and bottom sections of the page. This way, you still leave plenty of room for writing. For those choosing double-sided letterheads, you could choose to make the most of the space on the back by including information about your business, products and services.

Designs for any printed item, such as our business cards and letterheads, should be set up with a 3mm bleed area with at least a 3mm safe zone; this is what is known as print-ready artwork. If you are unsure where to start, please feel free to download our artwork templates to guarantee that your design is created to the correct specification. All printed items should have their layout created in CMYK as this is the colour scheme needed for true print production. Files can be supplied as either a high-resolution jpg with a minimum of 300 dpi or a printer’s pdf (with bleed).

Supplying your design correctly will ensure you receive a good-quality printed item. Don’t worry, we check everything is correct when you’ve uploaded your design!

Which paper stocks and thicknesses are available?

Our letterheads are printed in a range of high-quality premium stocks, including 90gsm uncoated, 120gsm uncoated, 170gsm uncoated or 120gsm recycled. Our recycled stocks not only provide a level of professionalism but are also a credible way of showing that your business is environmentally friendly. All of our stocks are from FSC sustainable sources. You can also choose to have your letterheads printed single-sided or double-sided.

Litho or digital printed Letterheads?

So that we can offer you the best prices and make them more cost-effective, we print our letterheads using digital and litho printing techniques. Quantities between 100 and 2500 can be printed digitally and, as such, are recommended to only overprint using an inkjet printer. Larger volumes are printed litho, and as such,h they are suitable to be overprinted with laser printing machines.

Can you design my Letterheads for me?

Of course! We understand that you probably have many other things to attend to, so let us save you some time by designing your custom letterheads for you. Simply send your brief to our team, and we’ll review it and reply with a price for the work. We do advise that you give us as much information as possible about your letterhead design so we can quote you accurately.
