How do Duplicate or Triplicate A5 NCR Sets work?

Rather than using carbon paper, our custom-printed NCR sets rely on a special micro-encapsulated dye for clean duplication. If you need a bound version in a larger size, consider our A4 NCR Books or A4 NCR Pads for bigger jobs. The paper is glued together in sets of 2 or 3 so that when you write on the top and apply pressure using a pen or pencil, the ink transfers across all sheets, and you have instant copies of the original.

You then give your customers a copy and are left with the copies you require loose, ready for filing or sending on! Much better than using the old-fashioned blue carbon paper – our carbonless copy paper is cleaner and more efficient. Numbering and drilling are additions to make this even better. Numbering allows you to keep track, and drilling makes it easier to store them.

What are A5 NCR Sets used for?

A5 NCR Sets are used by many different types of businesses, most commonly tradesmen who need to write out duplicate timesheets, delivery notes or receipts quickly and efficiently on a client’s premises. They can be used for any reason where you may need a duplicate of something.

A5 2-part NCR sets are different to our 2-part NCR pads or invoice pads, as they are not glued along the top or edge in pads of 50; our NCR sets remain as individual 2-part sets.

What options are available with my NCR Sets?

All of our special NCR paper sets are available with sequential numbering free of charge; you just have to tell us the start numbering position information. The sheets are glued at the top, typically or glued along the long edge, however, you wish. You can choose to have them single or double-sided, like our NCR pads are printed in black only or printed in full colour (to the front only).

We can offer 2 or 4 holes pre-drilled into the carbonless paper for those who like to store them in a ring binder.

No matter which NCR product you order, they all come with a thick card writing shield.

How should I design my A5 NCR Sets?

As well as being fantastic tools for duplicating information, NCR Sets can be great for establishing your brand identity and establishing a good reputation. Therefore, we highly recommend ensuring the design of your A5 NCR Set looks professional and stays in line with your overall brand message. You should use your company name and contact details so customers can easily recognise your business, as well as provide contact details for ease.

If you have chosen numbering, please supply us with print-ready artwork files, one for us to print from and one showing the numbering position as a guide. If you would also like to order double-sided, we suggest using 70% black for the reserve to avoid any show-through.

All artwork should be provided in CMYK to ensure a great finished product, the same as any printed item.
