All our A4 NCR pads are printed on 80gsm NCR paper measuring 210mm x 297mm, a handy size to carry around and still fit on lots of information. We offer 2 part and 3 part ncr invoice pads allowing you to duplicate or triplicate information. All our pads hold 50 sets in total, meaning if you order a 2 part NCR then each pad would have 100 sheets glued together in the same way a 3 part A4 NCR would have 150 sheets per pad.
We are also able to offer our order pads in sizes A5 and A6 should that be what you need, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
NCR stands for ‘No Carbon Required’ and illustrates the way NCR paper does the same job as carbon paper but in a better, cleaner, and more efficient way. Still to this day, some businesses use carbon paper which involves using an ordinary sheet of paper over the top of a sheet of copy paper. When pressure is applied with a pen or pencil, the carbon will imprint itself onto the sheet below so that an exact copy of the details is made. However, carbon paper is known for being messy and smudges can cause inaccurate information to be presented.

Instead of using a sheet of carbon paper, NCR pads are made up of several pieces of NCR paper. The back of each sheet is coated with a special micro-encapsulated dye that reacts with the top of the paper below when pressure is applied. When you press down with your pen or pencil, you get an instant copy of the original, so you have a copy for yourself and one for your customer.
Our NCR Books, NCR forms and cheap NCR pads comprise a top sheet (this is always white) and the coloured counterparts. All of our NCR duplicate pads come with a loose writing shield as standard the same as our 3 part NCR pads. We offer the best NCR paper going and all of our online ncr pads typically come with 50 sets per pad as standard, usually glued at the top.
Personalised NCR pads can have many uses, but because of their quick and easy duplication, most businesses use them for creating multiple invoices, delivery notes, receipts pads, order forms and accident forms. As with any piece of branded stationery, the design of your custom printed NCR pads should look professional and follow suit to the rest of your brand message. We recommend including your logo and brand name so customers can quickly establish an identity for your business as well as contact details for ease. How you design your print ready artwork is dependent on whether you are going single or double sided.
If numbering is needed on your A4 NCR pads, please supply two artwork files, one for print and one showing the numbering position as a guide. If you would also like to order double-sided NCR pads, we suggest using 70% black ink for the reserve to avoid any show-through.
