What is Dibond?

Dibond is a composite sheet composed of polyethylene housed between two sheets of aluminium. It is a remarkably lightweight, yet strong material widely considered one of the strongest display solutions out there. It has a smooth surface so it can be easily cleaned and is fire resistant, corrosion resistant, weatherproof and temperature resistant from 50°C to plus 80°C.

All these factors give it a long life expectancy and make it a fantastic choice for your next long-term display.

What’s the difference between the corner options available?

At Print Stafford, we offer three different corner options on our aluminium signs. Firstly, you can choose to have your sign with standard square corners which means we leave them untouched. Secondly, we offer 10mm radius corners which provide a sleek rounded finish. Lastly, our radius drilled corners are also rounded but come with drilled holes for mounting.

Do I need bleed and crop marks on my artwork?

You need bleed on all printed items. You do not, however, need to supply your Dibond board artwork with crop marks or bleed marks.
