Our aluminium sign boards are printed on 3mm thick aluminium material and our dibond is available in sizes A0, A1, A2, A3 and A4 so no matter the size of the space you are looking to fill, we have a design option for you. If you are after a custom size as we can also quote for these too! All our aluminium boards are engineered with a polyethylene core (foamex) sandwiched between two aluminium sheets. The combination of materials is incredibly strong and resistant against all weather including rain and strong winds.

What is custom dibond aluminium composite signage?

Dibond is a composite sheet composed of polyethylene core housed between two sheets of aluminium. It is a remarkably lightweight, yet strong material widely considered one of the strongest display solutions out there. It has a smooth surface so it can be easily cleaned and is fire resistant, corrosion resistant, weatherproof and temperature resistant from 50°C to plus 80°C.

All these factors give it a long life expectancy and make it a fantastic choice for your next long-term display.

What’s the difference between the corner options available?

At Print Stafford, we offer three different corner options on our aluminium signs. Firstly, you can choose to have your sign with standard square corners which means we leave them untouched. Secondly, we offer 10mm radius rounded corners which provide a sleek rounded finish. Lastly, our radius-drilled corners are also rounded but come with drilled holes in the four corners for easier mounting.

Do I need bleed and crop marks on my artwork?

You will need bleed on all printed items. You do not, however, need to supply your aluminium composite panel artwork with crop marks or bleed marks. As with all printed items especially for large format rigid signs, we require a 3mm bleed on all sides within your signs design, we would prefer a print-ready pdf set up with the correct colour palette of CMYK. 

All fonts used in your design should be converted to curves. If you can not create a pdf we would suggest a high-resolution jpg of your dibond panel designed to size and saved with a minimum of 300dpi.

Once you send us the file we create a pdf proof of your artwork for you to approve prior to printing.

Our custom printed dibond signs are printed in UV resistant ink ensuring great print quality but also durability.
